The Olympic Committee of Slovenia is the coordinator of this project. The organisation promotes sports at the national level, supporting athletes, organizing sporting events, and advocating for a healthy and active lifestyle and the values of sport and Olympism. Through their dedication, the NOC plays a vital role in shaping Slovenia’s sports landscape, empowering athletes, fostering participation, and contributing to the overall well-being of the Slovenian sports community.

The Austrian Olympic Committee (ÖOC) is committed to the Olympic values of excellence, respect and friendship. The promotion of sport with a special focus on Olympic values is at the core of its mission. The NOC recognises and promotes the autonomy of its member federations and values the diversity of sports. It also strongly advocates clean, respectful, fair and successful sporting practices to ensure a positive and inclusive sporting environment in Austria.

The Lithuanian National Olympic Committee (LNOC) is the driving force behind the promotion, development, and organization of sports in the country. Through collaboration with national sports federations and organizations, LNOC focuses on fostering a culture of education, sport ethics, and the promotion of Olympic values. Their efforts aim to inspire athletes and stakeholders, ensuring the growth and success of sports in Lithuania while upholding integrity, fair play, and respect.

The Olympic Committee of Serbia is dedicated to spreading the Olympic ideals and promoting the development of sport. Its main objectives include the protection and spread of the Olympic Movement in Serbia. The Committee represents Serbia in various international, continental and regional competitions, including the Olympic Games. As a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit sports organisation, it adheres to the fundamental principles of the international Olympic Movement as set out in the Olympic Charter and the Anti-Doping Code, and is committed to fair play, integrity and the promotion of clean sports practices.

The Macedonian Volleyball Federation promotes, develops and organises the sport of volleyball in Northern Macedonia. Its main objectives include the promotion of volleyball at all levels, the creation of optimal conditions for competition and development, and the further development of the sport in the country. As a member of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), the federation actively participates in international volleyball activities. It organises national championships and tournaments, promotes the sport of volleyball in schools and universities, and provides education and training for coaches and referees.

Founded in 1919, the University of Ljubljana is the largest and oldest university in Slovenia and has a close partnership with the Olympic Movement. As a member of the National Olympic Committee of Slovenia, it actively promotes Olympic values and ideals in its sports programme. Students at the University of Ljubljana have the unique opportunity to specialise in Olympic sports and participate in national and international competitions, which contributes to the development of sporting talent and fosters a deep appreciation of the Olympic spirit.

The European Olympic Academies (EOA) is the association of National Olympic Academies (NOAs) in Europe with the mission to disseminate the Olympic Idea and Values. The organisation aims to facilitate collaboration and exchange of experience between the NOAs and other stakeholders, promote the Olympic Movement through own initiatives and to provide platforms for discussion by holding conferences and seminars.

His expertise has led to frequent appearances on television and in global media outlets, highlighting his valuable insights. Dr. Hermann has dedicated his time to volunteering for social and cultural groups and international organizations in Europe and Australia. Dr. Hermann’s research interests encompass a broad range of topics, including sports medicine, sports management, sports law, sports policy, anti-doping and sports integrity, international law and international relations, international business, good governance, organizational development, music management, cross-cultural studies, and minority rights and equality.

Miha Urek is a renowned figure in the world of sports finance and consultancy. He is the author of the book “The Mindset of a Champion”, published by the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, which offers insights into the personal finances and lifestyles of professional athletes. As the developer of the first financial education programme for athletes in Europe, supported by the Olympic Committee of Slovenia and the International Olympic Committee, Miha’s expertise has had a significant impact on promoting financial wellness and empowering athletes to manage their finances.
